Since 2008 Gerhard Hauptfleisch had a dream to see 10% of Honingcraft’s turnover generated on foreign soil. That dream was turned into a plan, and the plan was implemented.

The Honingcraft team pursued several means of getting its products and services to the international market, including the following:

International trade exhibitions:

Honingcraft exhibited its products at several trade shows in South Africa, Zambia, DRC, Zimbabwe, Argentina, USA and India, amongst others, with the support of South Africa’s Department of Trade and Industry.

Advertising:

Honingcraft made itself know through several publications, including the Motion Control, The Engineering News, Mining Weekly, Plant and Equipment, Mining Mirror, African Mining.

E-Commerce:

Honingcraft associated itself with Engnet, an online engineering network, to improve its presence on the Internet. By upgrading the website, and taking on several ad campaigns, Honingcraft received enquiries from companies located in Zambia, Australia, Mozambique, Kenya, Russia, Brussels and Norway.

Associations:

Honingcraft gained membership with the SACEEC, The Department of Trade and Industries and Safpa, giving it the opportunity to attract previously untapped markets.

Honingcraft has completed several successful orders to Australia, Zimbabwe, Denmark, Mozambique, Zambia and Namibia, with orders pending for companies in Russia and Kenya.

 

The Honingcraft Team will continue to push the boundaries of the market it has access to.
